[Donghae/Henry Project] Gifts Brought!

I brought the gifts on Friday. We decided to get them each one t-shirt and a hat. Due to not having that many donations, we're going to use to money that was donated to the one year anniversary project.

I know getting them t-shirts and hats isn't a lot but this is as much as we can do as of now. I'm sure it'll get better as the forum progresses and after the revamp is done.

My mom's friend's husband is the director of "FIT LOVER", the movie Han Geng is rumored to be in. I asked my mom to ask if he's going to be in the movie. My mom emailed the friend and the friend said that they are in talks and Han Geng is a candidate.

It's not 100% confirmed that he will be in BUT there is a chance.

Henry and Donghae's birthdays are coming up in October, Henry will be turning 19 and Donghae will be turning 22 which is exciting yes? We want to give them a birthday present ^^

(PS their birthdays are October 15, 1986 and October 11th, 1989)

What are we thinking of?

{exclusive/独家} My Findings in China

Here's my second part. You can post this anywhere you want (LJ, Soompi, Baidu, etc), just make sure you credit Lucy@The Third Chapter.

I was at a bookstore where they sell CDs and I saw that there were these CD Rankings of who's the best seller etc. And look who's on the list? And yes, they forgot the "M". (DBSK is third, with their "O" album.)

Second place over here.

And some eye candy.

And lastly, I went to pick up SJM in Shanghai when they were filming the commercial. (If you want to see the pictures, change your theme to the Henry, Ryeowook and Donghae one by the awesome Yoomie.) I unfortunately wasn't able to take pictures of them since fangirls are scary. So I took pictures of the fangirls themselves. Their plane was delayed which was kind of annoying but anyways.

And here are the fans when I first arrived. Later more came and forums of Han Geng, Siwon etc started to bring out their banners to hang up.

{exclusive/独家} 7/23 - MeiHua Dumpling Store (梅花饺子之旅)

I was planning to go way before two days ago but I got busy and had a program to attend which took one week. I didn't want to go alone either so I decided to wait for my friend who is also a SJ-M fan to come with me. So we went two days ago and we took the subway. And let me tell you, that day was HOT. I was wearing heels which made it worse since I'm flatfooted but anyways. We got off the station and started to ask people around where 丰盛胡同 was. 丰盛胡同 is where Han Geng's mom's restaurant is.

And man, did we have a hard time. We first asked this man, he said go straight and so we did. Then we felt that all we can see were main streets, none were those small ones. So we asked more people; we asked a lady, she had no idea; we asked another guy, he said to go straight. AND OH, we decided to ask the 2008 Olympic Volunteers. What we did was not to make fun of them or make them feel bad or anything, we just wanted to see if they really knew English.

So I went:

Me: Excuse me, do you know where this place is? *points at my paper*
Volunteer:.....um, wait a minute.
Me: Sure.
(Volunteer goes to the other 4 volunteers and talks and then come back)
Volunteer: You go straight and turn left.
Me: Thank you.
Friend: Your English is quite good!

So that turned out quite nicely until we found that we didn't really know WHEN to turn left, LOL. So we ended up asking more people. One man was like 'That place is on the other side, you're on the wrong side". By that time, we had walked A LOT and my friend was getting impatient. So we wanted to confirm if his was right so we asked someone else. We asked a lady and she said "Go straight." and we were like "WTF?!" so we had to ask another person, we asked another guy and he said to go straight, so we were like majority rules, we went straight. About a 2 minute walk, we saw 丰盛胡同 and what do you know, that lady who told us to go straight waited for us and pointed at the sign. We thanked her, she was such a nice person.

Now we were getting anxious we slowly went walking towards the street. We heard these two girls behind us whining about how tired and exhausted they were. "Fans." I whispered to my friend. (LOL) And then when we were walking, we passed a restaurant that had my name as the name so I took a picture lol.

My name is 曾露茜，parents call me 茜茜, so...

Then we saw it. 梅花饺子.

It is a really small restaurant but a very cozy one..later, lol. When we went in, I was stared at like seriously. I think it was because I'm over 170cm, lol. That's about like 5'10ish? And I also think it's because my friend and I were speaking English the whole time. Hey, we wanted them to know SJM/Han Geng has foreign fans!

My friend and I sat with this other girl since there were no other places to sit. We looked around and omg Han Geng everywhere. It was heaven. I ignored the staring at me and just glued my eyes at the walls lol.

EYE CANDY NO? So later the waitress came, she was very sweet. I think she was surprised when I spoke in Chinese. When we ordered, again, people staring. Man, we're getting popular, jk. We had a short conversation with her:

Waitress: 你们是从那里来的？ (Where are you guys from?)
Me: 美国 (USA)
(Seeing that my friend isn't speaking in Chinese, she thought my friend couldn't)
Waitress: 她听的懂吗？(Does she understand what we're saying?)
Me: 懂，她只是不说。(Yes, she's just not speaking it.)

So I ordered 猪菜饺子 (Pork with Vegetable dumplings) and 东北凉皮 (DongBei LiangPi, it's a type of noodle?) It was GOOD. There's 10 dumplings per order and the noodles were a huge plate. And this meal with a sprite and an ice tea costed 30 RMB, which is $5. I KNOW RIGHT?

I think Han Geng's grandma was in the store and she was telling the fans that Han Geng's mom is at the other store, the bigger one and that Han Geng usually goes to that store since this one is too small. His grandma is really nice. She gave out directions on paper to fans to tell them where the other store was. I am going to visit that store next time I come back to Beijing.

That's basically my writeup about my trip to 梅花饺子. Short, but amazing.

I have more coming up. Just bits of what I saw that were SJM related when I was walking around. And OH, I bought this magazine that gave a SJM poster for free. Loves it.

Last but not least, I wish SJM the best of luck.
